"I joined the league shortly after moving back to Canada. 

I was asked by a former league member, Sharon George and also a teammate from 1996, if I wanted to play again. The reason I keep coming back to play is that the league is fun, features tough pitching, and I enjoy meeting and playing with different teammates each year. 

There is a great mix of ages and ability levels all out to have a good time and escape their everyday lives, playing the game we all grew up playing and loving. The fact that it is affordable and gives you the opportunity to play in two tournaments is the cherry on top."

 "It’s been such a privilege and inspiration to watch my mom play in this league since I was just a little kid. Seeing her out on the field sparked my love for the game. When I finally became eligible to join, we were the first ones at registration - I couldn’t wait to be part of something that had meant so much to her and, by then, to me. Since joining in 2015, the league has become a highlight of my summer every year. Now, getting to share the field with my mom, whether we’re playing together or facing off, is something special. This league has given us unforgettable memories!"
