The Banquet Committee comprises volunteers from the GCLSL league who organize the year-end banquet celebration. This includes arranging catering, decorations, awards, and entertainment and activities. This committee works tirelessly to ensure that the banquet is a memorable event for everyone involved in the league.

The Playoff Committee is responsible for organizing and managing the playoffs for the GCLSL. This involves determining the playoff format, scheduling the games, coordinating officials, and making sure all teams are on the same page. They oversee the entire playoff process, including tiebreaker scenarios, and strive to create a fair and competitive environment for all participating teams.

The Equipment Committee is responsible for managing and maintaining all the necessary communal gear and supplies needed for the GCLSL league. This includes procuring equipment such as bats, balls, bases, first aid kits, etc. They also ensure that equipment and league supplies are in good condition and meet safety standards. 

Commitment: 1 hr/month

The Recruitment Committee oversees player recruitment efforts, including managing registration and advertising. This committee works to promote the league, attract new players, and uphold the integrity of the game.

The Rules and Recruitment Committee plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the league's rules and regulations. They are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and updating the GCLSL rules, ensuring fair play and safety for all participants. 

Commitment: 2 hrs/month

The Fundraising Committee focuses on generating funds to support the league's operations and activities. This can involve organization events like Euchre tournaments or Trivia Nights, as well as seeking out sponsorships from local businesses or individuals. This committee may also explore other creative fundraising ideas and manage donation drives to ensure this non-profit league has the necessary financial resources to thrive.

The Tournament Committee typically oversees the organization and management of tournaments within the league. Their responsibilities may include: scheduling, overseeing and implementing tournament rules, securing proper fields and equipment, keeping track of game scores, and updating tournament brackets. Overall, the tournament committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that softball tournaments run smoothly and fairly, providing an enjoyable experience for all participants.

The Sponsorship Committee plays a vital role in fostering community support and securing funding to enhance the league's programs. Through building relationships with local businesses and organizations, the committee ensures that players have access to quality equipment, facilities, and memorable events throughout the season. Their work not only helps offset costs for players but also strengthens community ties, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
